On September 10, 2025, the Osiya Foundation delivered solar power to Kingandole Primary School in Kingandole Ward, Butula Sub-County. The pupils in the background say it all, hands in the air, and smiles everywhere.

Solar Power Program - Kingandole Primary School, Kingandole Ward
September 10, 2025

The Osiya Foundation visited Kingandole Primary School in Kingandole Ward, Butula Sub-County, on 10th September 2025 and handed over a solar power system that will serve this school for years to come. The handover was a community affair, all staff, all pupils, and all supporters were present, all invested in what this day meant.

For Kingandole Primary School, solar power means the kind of stability that opens doors. Classrooms that stay lit. A school that can function fully regardless of what the national grid is doing. Teachers who can focus on teaching rather than working around limitations that should not exist in the first place.
Butula sub-county has communities that are quietly ambitious, parents who show up, pupils who want to learn, and schools that are doing their best with what they have. The Osiya Foundation's role is simply to make sure that what they have matches what they deserve.

Kingandole Primary School now has that. And judging by those waving hands, they could not be happier about it.
