Every year on December 24th, the Osiya Foundation sponsors Teso Night, an annual cultural celebration that brings the entire Teso community together to close the year in unity, tradition, and shared pride.

Teso Night- Annual Cultural Celebration

December 24, annually | Teso

Some traditions are worth saving. One of these is Teso Night which is held every year on December 24th.

The Osiya Foundation is proud to sponsor this annual cultural celebration that brings together hundreds of community members under one roof to mark the close of the year in a way that is deeply rooted in Teso identity. The tent fills, the stage comes alive, and for one night, the community comes together not around a problem to solve but around something to celebrate.

That's more important than it seems. In a region where they are challenged all year round flooding, infrastructure deficits, and economic pressure an event that is simply about joy, culture, and togetherness is not a luxury. It's a necessity. It reminds people of who they are, where they come from, and what they have in common with every other person in that tent.

Teso Night brings community leaders, elders, families, and young people. The stage is the place where voices that speak about the past and the future of this community meet in equal measure. It's the kind of evening that people look forward to year after year and take with them long after the lights go down.

This event is sponsored by the Osiya Foundation, a commitment that is not limited to one year. Coming every December 24th is a way of saying, "This community deserves to celebrate itself, and we'll be here to help make that happen.
